Oakland, CA|3.7| ||1 hour ago|Full-time| Education Bachelor's Degree Skills Construction Experience Data Collection Driver's License AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager to support the permitting, planning, and construction of infrastructure and restoration projects. This is a primarily office-based role; however travel to project sites throughout Northern California will be required from time to time. In this role, the preferred candidate will oversee and manage the regulatory compliance on projects under construction, help obtain and modify permits from regulatory agencies, support resource evaluations and impact determinations, and manage monitors and inspectors in the field. We are looking for someone experienced in both construction processes and environmental regulations. Minimum Requirements BA/BS in Environmental Planning or related field with 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Must have valid U.S. Driver's license Preferred Qualifications + Experience managing complex environmental compliance efforts, including interpreting and complying with Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Programs. + Experience on projects that have oversight from the California Public Utilities Commission + Experience managing compliance for a variety of environmental disciplines, including biological resources, cultural resources, stormwater pollution, air quality/dust, and wetlands + Experience with obtaining, amending and implementing permits from the USACE, RWQCB, CDFW, USFWS, NMFS, and other regulatory agencies. + Certified as a Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP), Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD), Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), and/or a Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI) + Experience working with data collection and reporting tools + Desire to help develop solutions to compliance challenges What We Offer When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future .
