**AECOM** is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Geologist for employment in the Chicago, IL office.

Looking to start position in Late May to Early June.

**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**

+ Project Field and Office Support for Site Assessment and Remediation Projects.

+ Perform field sampling activities and become proficient with field instrumentation and equipment.

+ Work on interesting, fast-paced projects with the opportunity to learn and expand skills.

+ Analytical data analysis.

+ Report preparation.

+ Evaluation of alternatives.

+ Data summaries.

+ Field sampling for soil, soil vapor and groundwater is required in a variety of environmental settings.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ BS/BA degree in Geology, Geological Sciences or Hydrogeology with broad coursework in the sciences.

+ Valid U.S. Driver's License.

+ U.S. citizenship required.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Willingness and ability to work outdoors in sometimes challenging conditions.

+ Good interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable liaising with clients, colleagues and sub-contractors alike.

+ Flexible with working hours and locations, frequent travel within 1 – 2 hrs drive of home office, and occasionally further.

+ Willingness and ability to learn and rapidly master new tasks.

+ Strong research and report writing (including web based research).

+ Strong numerical skills.

+ Excellent written and verbal skills.

+ Strong quality and time management.

+ Self-starter, develops and delivers work under own initiative.

+ Solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work.
