**AECOM** is seeking an Entry Level Geologist to be based in Grand Rapids, MI.
This position is expected to begin in May/June 2021.

**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Assist with a variety of projects including data management, site investigations and remediation.
+ Assist with gathering and analyzing geological, hydrogeological and geochemical data in both the field and office settings.
+ Field activities will consist of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air and soil vapor sample collection, geological logging and interpretation, and the oversight of subcontractors including laboratories and excavation and drilling companies.
+ Office activities will involve preparation of investigation reports.
+ Learn and develop a keen understanding of hazard recognition.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related field
+ Valid U.S. driver's license
+ Experience with soil borings and installation of monitoring wells
+ Remediation project experience
+ Experience with preparing investigation reports and drawings
+ Technical report writing skills
+ Independent field work and leadership of field teams
+ Contractor oversight experience
+ Develop cost estimates associated with field related activities
+ Candidates must be able to travel up to 50% to various job sites within the U.S
