AECOM's client, one of the top 5 IT companies, has contracted AECOM to provide Quality Assurance (QA) Auditing services to overseeing the installation of fiber optic trench ductwork. The work will include supervision of the following construction activities: Safety, Civil Work, Conduit & Cable Installation, Fiber Optic Cable Termination (Splicing) and Fiber Optic Testing Review. AECOM is seeking QA auditors to service field installation work the client's contractor is performing on project located in the following areas:

Northern Virginia (IAD)

Eastern Oregon (PDX)

Montreal, Quebec (YUL)

Columbus Ohio (CMH)

San Francisco (SFO)

San Paulo, Brazil (GRU)

and additional regions as required by the client

Work will commence in January, 2020 and will be ongoing for 24 months. As a QA Auditor, you will be working in the elements and will work according to field exposures. Safety training, knowledge of civil, Telecommunications fiber optic installation, Conduit & Cable Installation, Fiber Optic Cable Termination (Splicing) and Fiber Optic Testing Review comprehensive understanding of the means/methods are all requirement for these positions

Under general direction, technically manages quality projects or major phases of significant quality projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned project.

Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge to the completion of significant quality assignments.

Provides leadership for quality assurance and quality control support on assigned program(s) and/or areas to ensure that the project is designed, procured and installed in accordance with customer and company quality requirements.

Provides leadership for new systems, development, proposals, implementation, procedures and any related quality activity.

Develops and applies advanced quality assurance/control theories, as well as research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems on the forefront of new technologies.

Analyzes, evaluates and plans methods of approach, as well as organizes means to achieve solution of complex technical problems.

Reviews project process and evaluates results.

Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.

Makes frequent decisions using principles and professional independent judgment.

Conducts investigations and tests that are of considerable complexity.

Provides technical consultation to lower level engineers, technicians and inspectors.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
